About This Program
The Medical Technology Medical School Preparation Program is a Master's degree program that gives students the opportunity to strengthen and cultivate their academic, clinical and analytical skills in preparation for medical school. The program specifically helps students to strengthen their scientific background for medical school.
Accepted students complete a full year of course work while applying and interviewing for medical school. A Masters in Medical Technology is awarded upon completion.
Curriculum includes advising sessions with College of Medicine Admissions counselors. In addition, academic support, tutoring and medical-student peer mentoring are available.
In order to receive an interview with the NCOM, the following criteria MUST be met:
● First Semester MedPrep GPA- 3.50
● MCAT- 500
● CGPA MedPrep- 3.50
